I saw the first hummingbird of the season yesterday! He was checking out the bougainvillea, which hasn't even bloomed yet. I hung up a feeder for him and thought of my Grandma, and her deck with all the birds and squirrels in Spokane.
Hopefully this year we can keep the yellowjackets away. Although the bird vs. bee fights last year were pretty interesting, they pretty much kept us off the deck for two weeks.

On the road again
Six people live at our house, but it seems like no one's ever home! Here are all the airports (that I know of) that Goatlanders already plan to use this summer:

No goat-hunting over the internet
If the California state Senate has its way, we'll have to scrap plans for an internet-controlled rifle in the back yard to let people hunt goats and roaming cats remotely.

Delite Update
It turns out the Delite Salon has been under investigation for awhile. There might be all sorts of stuff going on there: embezzlement, elder abuse, bigamy, and prostitution!
